Samridhi Agarwal is a contemporary painter from India.
Her abstract paintings convey the movement and energy of emotions, often shaped by her internal feelings and current roles in life. Heavily inspired by the washes, textures, movements, and emotions of everyday life, her work is a continuous pursuit of capturing the intangible and the unspeakable.
Articulating emotions with words has always been challenging for her. However, painting transforms this experience. When filled with excitement, she channels that energy into her canvas, working quickly and becoming fully absorbed and connected to the creative process.
Samridhi's art practice is deeply process-driven, motivated by the act of art-making itself—expressing herself, engaging with tactile materials, and more.
Above all, she aims for her work to evoke a sense of curiosity and positive energy in the spaces it inhabits.
